TEACHERS DAY
The Department of Physics celebrated Teacher’s Day on 8th September 2025 at 01.30 P.M. in the VM Block, APCM Campus of this academic Year 2025-2026 with great enthusiasm to honor and appreciate the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the future of students. The program commenced with a prayer song, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. Akshaya Prabha, Student of II B.Sc Physics. The main objective of the event is to highlight the significance of the day, which marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great teacher, philosopher, and former President of India.
Students expressed their gratitude by delivering speeches, sharing poems, and presenting cultural performances dedicated to their teachers. The highlight of the event was a short skit performed by students, showcasing the bond between teachers and learners.
Teachers were honoured with mementos and heartfelt messages prepared by the students. Mrs. P. Saraswathi, Assistant Professor of Physics highlighted the noble role of teachers in building character, imparting knowledge, and nurturing values in students.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by the student coordinator Ms. Zainaf Nisha, acknowledging the efforts of teachers and organizers. Ms. S. Maheswari of III B. Sc Physics host the event in a very well manner. The event created a joyful atmosphere filled with respect, love, and appreciation for the teaching fraternity.
