ALUMNAE MEET2025
Department of Physics organized the Annual Alumnae Meet of this academic year 2025-2026 on 30.08.2025. The Venue of the meeting was VM Block, APCM Campus at the time of 10.30 A.M. Mrs. R. Vijayalakshmi M.Sc., B.Ed., M.Phil., DGT. Assistant Professor of Physics, Muthukaruppan Memorial Art’s and Science College, Sillankulam.was invited as the Chief guest of the program. She gave an inspiring talk on the topic “Physics Beyond the Classroom”. The main objective of the Alumni Meet is to bring former students back to their college, strengthen relationships, and create networking opportunities. It also inspires current students through alumni experiences and supports the growth of the institution
The program began with the blessings of Lord Almighty by singing Prayer Song. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Akshaya, Student of II B.Sc. Physics. Mrs.P.Saraswathi, Assistant Professor of Physics presented a memento to our Chief guest as a token of love. After that, the Chief Guest delivered her presidential address. The objective of this speech is to motivate the students by giving more idea about the importance of Physics and to encourage the application of physics principles to address the current tasks. In her talk, she insisted some important concepts like Career guidance, Networking, Institutional development, and Alumni contributions are discussed. Some of the Alumnae shared their old memories and gave their suggestions for their juniors. The Alumnae Meet successfully strengthened the bond between former students, current students, and the institution. It provided meaningful networking opportunities and a platform for alumni to share their experiences and guidance. Students gained valuable insights for their academic and career growth. The event also encouraged alumni contributions and support for the institution’s future development. Feedbacks were received from the alumnae. Ms. Zainaf Nisha, III B.Sc., Physics proposed the vote of thanks followed by our National Anthem. The program was a great success under the support of the department faculty members and students.
