The Department of Physics organized an educational outreach programme for the Class 12 students of Prasanna Matriculation School on 06.01.2026. The main objective of the program is to create awareness about the scope and importance of Physics and motivating students to pursue higher studies and careers in the field. The program aimed to help students understand how Physics plays a vital role in science, technology, and everyday life. The program began with a motivational talk given by Dr. N. Rathna, Assistant Professor of Physics of the college. She focusing on reducing students’ fear of Physics and encouraging them to develop a positive attitude toward the subject. The Department of Physics of A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi in collaboration with Vienstereoptic, Thoothukudi organized a two-day workshop on “System Doctor: Hardware Repair, Maintenance and Networking” on 25th and 26th September 2025 at Dr. A. L. Mudhaliar Hall. The workshop aimed to provide students with practical knowledge in computer hardware servicing, system maintenance, and networking. The Department of Physics celebrated Teacher’s Day on 8th September 2025 at 01.30 P.M. in the VM Block, APCM Campus of this academic Year 2025-2026 with great enthusiasm to honor and appreciate the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the future of students.
