FUSION FEST-2025 Arts and Science Exhibition-12.03.2025
The Interdepartmental Arts and Science Exhibition, FUSIONFEST-2025, was successfully organized on March 12, 2025, at A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi. The exhibition served as a dynamic platform for students to showcase their creativity, innovation, and interdisciplinary knowledge. The theme for the Arts category was "Scientific Exploration Behind Indian Ancient Architecture in Temples and Monuments" highlighting the scientific principles and architectural brilliance of ancient Indian structures. The theme for the Science category, "The Wonders of Science: How Interdisciplinary Innovations Shape Our World" emphasized the impact of scientific advancements across various fields. A total of 46 students actively participated in the exhibition, with 8 students from the Arts stream and 38 from the Science stream.
The event was judged by Dr. P. Yokeswari Nithya, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, and Dr. M. Muthulakshmi, Assistant Professor of Commerce, from A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi. Their expertise helped in evaluating the exhibits based on creativity, scientific accuracy, and presentation skills. The program was coordinated by Dr. R. Suya Padhra Haridha, along with Student Coordinator A. Zainaf Nisha of II B.Sc Physics. Their dedicated efforts ensured the smooth execution of the event. The exhibition fostered innovative thinking, analytical skills, and interdisciplinary collaboration among students. It provided an opportunity to explore the intersection of science, history, and technology, inspiring participants to delve deeper into their respective fields. The event concluded on a high note, leaving students motivated and eager for future explorations. The exhibition provided an excellent platform for students to explore the intersection of science, history, and the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) through creative exhibits.
