Department of Physics organized Gender Sensitization Programme on the topic “Empowerment and Protection: Navigating the PoSH Act” on 25.09.2024 at 11.00 A.M. of the academic year 2024-2025.The Venue of the program was ICT Hall IV of the college campus. Mrs. Rajamahizhndha, Retainer Advocate, Shriram Finance Limited, Thoothukudi was acted as the resource person of the program. In her talk, the topics POSH Act and its importance, Types of harassments, Elements of POSH, Internal Complaint Committee’s importance and need, Responsibilities of an individual are discussed. 52 participants were benefitted by this program.
