On behalf of the Physics Department, we have organized an Annual Alumnae Meet on 15.08.2023 at 10.00A.M. Ms. B. Vidya Lakshmi, Junior Assistant, A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women is the guest speaker.

Department of Physics organizes a capacity building program on the topic “The necessity of soft talents in today’s technological world” Ms. T. Kannika devi, Program coordinator, Focus Edumatics, Coimbatore alumna has delivered a talk.

In Commemoration of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial Day a Motivational talk was arranged for Physics and Chemistry (I- year) department students on 27.07.2023 which was organized by Department of Physics. Around ninenty-five students took part in the Program. Dr. T. Buvaneswari, Assistant Professor of Tamil, A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi motivates the students with the life history of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam along with his achievements. The topic of the program was “Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam – Vision and Mission”. In addition to the motivational talk the video of Chandrayan- 3 launching and the aim of the Spacecraft was explained to the students by Mrs. R. Suya Padhra Haridha, Head & Assistant Professor of Physics. The students actively participated in the Program.
