Jayasankari, MCA., M.Phil., Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, P. K. R. Arts College for Women, Gobichettipalayam, Erode has delivered a talk.

Department of Physics organized a Faculty Development Program on 29.09.2022 Dr. N. Rathna, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi, delivered a talk on “E-Content Preparation".

Department of Physics organizes a Guest Lecture related to Gender Sensitivity program to create an awareness about human rights. Mrs. S. Sornalatha MA., ML., Senior Advocate/Social Activist, Thoothukudi has delivered a talk on “Women’s Right are Human Rights” on 07.10.2022.

The guest lecture was organized by the Physics department on 22nd September, 2022. Mrs. V. Nivetha (Alumna) , Beautician and Proprietor of Sri Makeup studio, Sivakasi presided over as the guest speaker and topic of her discussion was “Self-Grooming MakeUp”.

              On 29 August, 2022, Department of Physics organized a one-day workshop on  “ Scientific aspects of Gadgets in physics exhibition.   The resource person of the workshop was Prof. S.Sriraman, M.Sc., M.Phil., M.Ed., D.S., (Retd) H.O.D of Physics , V.O. Chidambaram College, Thoothukudi . 

Our Department  organized the Annual Alumnae Meet of this academic year 2022-2023 on 15.08.2022 at  10.00 A.M.  Miss. K. Vithya Devi,   Medical Billing Officer, M.S Solutions, Thoothukudi  was invited as    the Chief guest of the program. She gave an inspiring talk on the topic  “Importance of Interpersonal Skills”.

  In commemoration of  International Youth Day  on August 12, 2022,  Our Department  conducted a Poster Presentation competition on the theme, “ Building a better world  with youth ”.

  In connection with the 75 th  Independence Day celebration, Our Department  conducted a Power point presentation competition on the theme, “ Unsung heroes and heroines of the freedom struggle ” on 11 th  August 2022.

                The Department of Physics of A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi, Tamilnadu, organized TANSCHE Sponsored State Level Seminar on" Recent Trends in Material Sciences " on 04.04.2022 . The speaker Dr.D.Silambarasan, Assistant Professor of Physics, The M.D.T.Hindu College, Tirunelveli delivered a talk on Gamma Ray irradiated Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes for Hydrogen Storage in the Technical Session-I. The Technical Session –II was handled by Dr.R.Naresh Muthu Assistant Professor of Physics, J.P.College of Arts and Sciences,Tenkasi who deliver a lecture on the topic Supercapacitor Device Performance of Boron-Incorporated Reduced Graphene Oxide. 

  On behalf of “ National Science Day  Our Department  conducted an “ Poster Presentation Competition ”  Mrs.J.Arockia Jeyanthi, Assistant Professor of Computer science, A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi acted as a Judge

    Guestlecture on the topic “Semozhiyam TamilMozhi”. Dr.M.Pushpagavalli , Assistant Professor of   Tamil , A.P.C.Mahalaxmi College for Women, delivers a talk on it.
